Night Work to Begin on Route 1 Intersection
New Hampshire Department of Transportation officials say $4.3 million project to begin on April 15

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces planned night work associated with the intersection reconstruction project at the intersection of US Route 1 (Lafayette Road) and the US Route 1 Bypass.
Beginning the night of Monday, April 15 at 7:00 pm, this work will involve the installation of drainage across Route 1 at Greenleaf Woods Drive. This night work is expected to continue for approximately one week, then resume on the night of April 29th with additional drainage installation on the northbound side of the Bypass.
Motorists traveling through the work zone during these time periods should anticipate traffic shifts and possible alternating traffic during overnight hours. Uniformed officers and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.

Weaver Brothers Construction, Inc., of Bow, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $4.3 million project, which is scheduled to be completed in August 2014.
