Receiver named to take over collapsed pain/recovery clinic business (unionleader.com) — Patients from the shuttered Portsmouth pain clinic now have a court-appointed receiver overseeing records and finances, with a local Portsmouth address and phone number provided for record requests. State officials allege the clinic network closed abruptly, leaving pain and recovery patients without timely access to treatment or documentation, and have barred the owner from operating healthcare businesses in New Hampshire. 
2. $5M Portsmouth condo tops Seacoast home sales as inventory rises (seacoastonline.com) — A luxury condo at 70 Maplewood in downtown Portsmouth just sold for $5 million, the highest-priced Seacoast home sale in November and the city’s third-priciest condo ever. New data from the Seacoast Board of Realtors shows inventory rising for both single-family homes and condos, while median prices for Portsmouth-area properties remain strong despite a seasonal slowdown in sales.
3. Will New Hampshire, Maine see Christmas snow? What weather almanacs say (seacoastonline.com) — If you’re hoping for a white Christmas in Portsmouth, early signs point to mostly cloudy skies with a mix of snow and rain later on Christmas Day 2025. Weather almanacs and forecasters see a milder-than-normal winter overall, but still leave room for bursts of colder, snowier conditions across New Hampshire and Maine.
4. Find gifts from New Hampshire vendors at Boston's Snowport (wmur.com) — Portsmouth residents and businesses are featured at Boston’s Snowport holiday market, where local vendors like Ruby and Gus and Cheese Louise are showcasing gifts and comfort food through Dec. 28. If you’re up for a short trip, you’ll find New Hampshire makers, festive stalls, and plenty of food and music in the Seaport neighborhood.
5. Bluebird Self Storage collecting food at all nine locations for 'Give Hunger the Bird' (wmur.com) — A regional holiday food drive is underway that will directly support Gather, the Portsmouth-based hunger relief nonprofit, along with Families in Transition in Manchester. Bluebird Self Storage is collecting nonperishable food and personal items at all its New Hampshire locations through Dec. 31, aiming to raise 2,000 pounds of donations this year.
