The Pease Greeters are on the eve of a milestone: <a href="http://www.peasegreeters.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Pease Greeters</a> on Saturday will welcome the 700th flight at <a href="http://www.peasedev.org/pease-airports.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pease International Airport</a>. The expansive and energetic volunteers will be there at 4:10 a.m. on April 26 to welcome a flight of troops returning home. The non-profit organization exists to welcome troops flying out of Pease, and those returning home, either from Afghanistan or Iraq, or any other areas of conflict. The group throws a welcome-home party as a way to say thanks, as well to celebrate the service of veterans.
