Police Arrest City Man on Multiple Charges
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Dec. 12 through Saturday, Dec. 15.
Wednesday:
- At 1:29 p.m., police reported shoplifting at a Woodbury Avenue store where the caller said a male subject left the store with an armful of clothes and fled the scene.
- At 4:59 p.m., police received a prowler complaint on Blue Heron Drive.
- At 8:20 p.m., police arrested a man for motor vehicle offenses on Greenland Road and Richards Avenue. Roy F. Leach IV, 50, of 9 Huntington Place in Hampton was charged with driving after revocation or suspension.

- At 11:05 a.m., police reported the theft of a canoe on Elwyn Avenue.
- At 1:28 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Lafayette Road after the caller said someone put glue inside a building lock.
- At 4:48 p.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Seth St. Laurent, 22, of 17 Halstead St. in Kittery, Maine was wanted for forgery.
- At 8:06 p.m., police reported a non-forcible sex assault on Thaxter Road after the caller said his 16-year-old daughter was being contacted by a 24-year-old male on the Internet who was asking her some sexually explicit questions.
Friday:
- At 12:11 a.m., police reported a fight on Woodbury Avenue where the caller said one male subject was "beating to death" another male subject. The incident led to the arrests of Dalton Muffet, 18, of 9 Storey Brook Lane in Stratham and Joseph Poulin, 19, of 22 Frying Pan Lane in Stratham. Both men were charged with unlawful possession of alcohol and taken into protective custody for alcoholism.
- At 3:22 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Union Street after the caller said someone smashed a passenger side window and fled.
- At 6:13 p.m., police reported a burglary on Buckminster Way after the caller said they returned home and found their residence ransacked.
- At 8:53 p.m., police arrested an Epping man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Lafayette Road. Geoffrey James, 25, of 70 Pleasant St., Apt 7, in Epping was wanted on a bench warrant.

- At 1:28 a.m., police reported a fight on Fleet Street involving two male subjects who were throwing punches at one another, but neither person wanted to press any charges.
- At 10:19 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Weald Road. Steven M. Liberge, 27, of 16 Edgewood Road in Portsmouth was wanted for criminal mischief (vandalism), violation of probation or parole, driving after revocation or suspension, and criminal liability for conduct of another.
- At 11:21 a.m., police reported the theft of an iPad on Woodbury Avenue.
- At 11:42 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man at Portsmouth High School on Andrew Jarvis Drive who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Police said the male subject had wandered into the gym and wanted to talk to his ex-girlfriend. Michael A. Ireland, 45, of address unknown, Portsmouth was arrested on a warrant.
