Police Arrest Juvenile for Drug Possession

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Dec. 2 through Monday, Dec. 3.

Sunday:

  • At 5:57 p.m., police reported a stalking complaint on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said she was followed by a male subject inside the K-Mart store.
  • At 7:12 p.m., police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for possession of controlled drugs and drug/narcotics violations on Greenland Road.

  • At 7:19 a.m., police reported a car versus a bicyclist accident on Lafayette Road.
  • At 9:58 a.m., police reported a fraud complaint on Lincoln Avenue involving an $18,000 tractor.
  • At 12:09 p.m., police reported a theft on Jones Avenue after the caller said someone stole her watch and bracelet.
  • At 2:08 p.m., police arrested a Lawrence, Mass., man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Dennis Brasher, 61, of 238 Essex St. in Lawrence, Mass., was wanted for criminal mischief (vandalism) and obstructing report of crime or injury.
  • At 2:32 p.m., police reported a theft of pre-cut logs at a Maplewood Avenue residence.
  • At 7:10 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Gosling Road after the caller said some kids were throwing rocks at cars and damaged three vehicles.
