Police Arrest Rye Woman for DWI

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, Nov. 30 through Sunday, Dec. 2.

Friday:

  • At 12:50 p.m., police reported the theft of a diamond engagement ring and a wedding band on South Street valued at more than $7,000.
  • At 3:36 p.m., police reported the theft of two rings and a bracelet on Saphire Street valued at $10,000. The caller told police the theft occurred nearly three weeks ago.
  • At 4:39 p.m., police reported a missing person who was last seen around Marshal's on Woodbury Avenue. A short time later, the man, who police said was developmentally disabled, was located with the Portsmouth Police K-9 unit. The Rochester Police and State Troop A K-9 units were also dispatched to the scene.
  • At 10:33 p.m., police arrested a Maine man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained by Dover Police. Gary L. Kingsbury, 64, of 259 Pine Hill Road in Berwick, Maine was wanted for issuing bad checks.

  • At 1:18 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man on Blue Heron Drive who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Gregory C. Curry, 19, of 5 Dunlin Way in Portsmouth was wanted for three counts of possession of controlled narcotic drugs and for criminal mischief (vandalism).
  • At 9:20 p.m., police arrested a Rye woman for drunken driving on Lafayette Road. Jill L. Dellinger, 48, of 741 Ocean Road, Apt. 2, in Rye was charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • At 10:52 p.m., police reported a theft of a wallet that contained 20 credit cards on Daniel Street.
  • At 11:53 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Middle Road after the caller said resident punched his fist through a plexi glass window.

Sunday:

  • At 12:22 a.m., police reported a theft of a wallet and a cell phone on Daniel Street.
  • At 12:34 a.m., police reported a theft on State Street after the caller said someone broke into her car and stole some money.
