Police From Berwick, and NH State Police Chase Truck Into Dover

3 face charges and police say possibly involved in the theft of dirt bikes and ATVs. Police deflated the tires of the truck during the chase

DOVER, NH - New Hampshire State Police were advised that Berwick, Maine police were pursuing a white box truck, later identified as a 2011 Isuzu NQR, and approaching the NH state line in Somersworth, NH.

Troopers were also informed that the vehicle being pursued was possibly connected to the theft of dirt bikes and/or ATVs from a private residence in the Berwick and Sanford, Maine area.

Shortly after crossing into New Hampshire, NHSP Sergeant Christopher Storm took over the primary role in this pursuit. The vehicle continued onto Route 16 southbound in the City of Dover.

As the vehicle entered the Dover toll plaza, a Trooper was able to successfully deploy a tire deflation device, ultimately deflating two tires. The truck continued traveling at slow speeds on two tires before exiting the highway at Exit 6 in the City of Dover.

Troopers continued to follow the vehicle onto Dover Point Road, and Boston Harbor Road, when three occupants, including the operator, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Troopers were able to apprehend all three subjects within moments.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as, Jason Medina-Siri, 22 from Lawrence, MA. He was arrested and charged with disobeying a Police Officer, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass. A passenger, identified as Felix Ovalles-Pena,19, from Lawrence, MA, was also arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass. A third juvenile occupant was also taken into custody, his name was not released due to his age.

The New Hampshire State Police was assisted by members of the Berwick, ME Police Department, the Dover, NH Police Department, the Newington Police Department, and the Newington Fire Department.
