Police: Burglar Steals Swords, Knife Collection
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, March 6 through Saturday, March 9.
Wednesday:
- At 10:37 a.m., police reported a theft of service at a Route One Bypass business after the caller said a customer couldn't pay and offered to drive to her bank to get the money. The caller said he followed the customer who then ran a red light, made a U-turn, and fled on I-95. The U-Haul employee told police he had a telephone number for the customer, but it was disconnected.
- At 11:51 a.m., police reported a theft at a Lafayette Road business after the caller said someone stole a 30-pack of beer.
- At 6:48 p.m., police reported a burglary on Islington Street where the caller said someone entered her home and stole some items.
- At 9:31 p.m., police arrested two girls who were involved in a fight on Middle Road where the caller said three girls were punching, hitting and pulling hair outside the girls' dormitory on the second floor.

- At 8:36 a.m., police reported truancy on Holiday Drive after two juveniles refused to go to school.
- At 9:29 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Steven M. Liberge, 27, of 3 Edgewood Road in Portsmouth was wanted on a bench warrant out of Hampton District Court.
- At 10:16 p.m., police reported a theft on Commerce Way after the caller said someone stole his GPS, EasyPass, and a couple of pairs of sunglasses from his vehicle while he was at Hesser College.
Friday:
- At 8:18 a.m., police arrested a Lebanon, Maine man on Greenland Road who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Dana J. Lovely, 32, of 13 Herson Lane in Lebanon, Maine, was wanted on a bench warrant.
- At 1:53 p.m., police reported a theft at a Lafayette Road business after an employee said he observed someone stealing merchandise.

- At 12:55 a.m., police reported a burglary at a Hampshire Road home where the perpetrator took some video game systems, swords and a knife collection.
- At 1:50 a.m., police reported another burglary on Chapel Street.
- At 1:51 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman who was involved in a domestic incident on Court Street. Christy Gaston, 37, of 140 Court St., Apt. 408, in Portsmouth was charged with criminal mischief (vandalism).
