Police Charge Kittery Woman with Forgery
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, Jan. 6 to Monday, Jan. 7.
Sunday:
- At 11:47 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Thaxter Road after the caller said someone entered his car, but nothing was taken.
- At 5:43 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Gosling Road after the caller said someone hit her car with a snowball.
- At 6:30 p.m., police reported a theft on Kensington Road after the caller said someone stolen an iPod from her car.
- At 10:30 p.m., police reported a burglary on South Street after the caller said someone entered her house.

- At 9:49 a.m., police reported an unattended death on Holly Lane.
- At 11:10 a.m., police reported a theft of loose change on Thaxter Road.
- At 11:40 a.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Amie Viera, 29, of 17 Halstead St. in Kittery, Maine was wanted for forgery.
- At 11:32 p.m., police reported a simple assault on Court Street where a male was assaulted by two other people inside his apartment.
