Police: City Man Nabbed for DWI

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, June 26 through Thursday, June 27.

Wednesday:

  • At 3:09 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Pleasant Street after the owner of the Brazo restaurant said a woman kept putting her lawn furniture on top of his roof.
  • At 3:46 p.m., police reported a theft on Jones Avenue.
  • At 4:21 p.m., police assisted State Police at the Portsmouth Traffic Circle after the caller said a driver struck her vehicle and then left the area. Police said State Police caught up with the driver on Lafayette Road in the Planet Fitness parking lot.
  • At 4:44 p.m., police arrested a Dover woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justiice after she was detained by Dover Police. Sherri Turimelle, 52, of 60 Pleasantville Circle was wanted for wilful concealment.
  • At 6:07 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Rogers Street and Court Street with no reported injuries.
  • At 7:14 p.m., police arrested a Barrington woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she turned herself in at the police station. Samantha Isabelle, 24, of 84 Michael Succi Drive was wanted for simple assault.
  • At 10:19 p.m., police reported a skateboarding complaint on Ocean Road near the Cedar Ridge Condominiums after the caller said a group of kids were skateboarding on Ocean Road and she almost hit one of them with her car.
Thursday:
  • At 1:22 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for drunken driving on Market Street and Michael Succi Drive. David Scott Campbell, 46, of 259 Raleigh Way was charged with driving while intoxicated.
