Police: Dover Woman Charged with Simple Assault
Portsmouth Police provided the following arrest information.
The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, 2013.
Saturday:
- At 1:12 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman following a domestic incident on Holiday Drive. James J. Benjamin, 38, of 350 Holiday Drive was charged with three counts of simple assault.
- At 11:48 a.m., police reported a bicycle theft of a children's bike on Richards Avenue.
- At 12:45 p.m., police reported a theft of a wallet from a vehicle in Market Square.
- At 2:55 p.m., police reported a jewelry theft on Dennett Street that involved several items.
- At 3:22 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Middle Street after the caller said a vehicle's driver's side mirror had been torn off.
- At 4:03 p.m., police reported the theft of a purse out of a motor vehicle on Lafayette Road.
- At 8:25 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for simple assault on Court Street. Scott Perry Coburn, 57, of 600 Lafayette Road was also charged with resisting arrest or detention.

- At 2:12 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for drunken driving on Islington and Langdon streets. Caitlin N. Kalosky, 24, of 901 Springbrook Circle was charged with driving while intoxicated.
