Police: Driver Topples Several Motorcycles Like Dominoes

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Wednesday, Sept. 25:
- At 10:45 a.m., police received a fraud complaint on State Street after the caller said someone called her residence and threatened to shut off her electricity because the bill was past due.
- At 12:26 p.m., police reported a dog bite at Beechstone Apartments.
- At 2:20 p.m., police reported a car accident at the High Hanover Parking Garage after a driver backed into a motorcycle and knocked down several other motorcycles with a domino effect.
- At 3:21 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident on Borthwick Avenue that resulted in a head injury.
- At 6:10 p.m., police reported disorderly conduct on Borthwick Avenue after a patient barricaded herself in her room by throwing chairs around.
- At 7:06 p.m., police reported fraud after a New Hampshire Liquor and Wine Outlet store employee said a counterfeit $20 bill was passed.
