Police: Drunk Man Boards Thomas Laighton Ship

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Tuesday, April 9 through Wednesday, April 10.

Tuesday:

  • At 8:50 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Parrott Avenue. Juan Rivera, 33, of 34 Gosling Road was wanted for receiving stolen property.
  • At 9:19 a.m., police arrested a Rochester woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she was detained by Somersworth Police. Jessica L. Bonneau, 31, of 31 Nutter St. in Rochester was wanted for theft (removing merchandise from the premises).
  • At 10:14 a.m., police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for default or breach of bail conditions after he turned himself in at the police department.
  • At 5:48 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man following a domestic incident on Freedom Circle. Anthony L. Porter, 57, of 6 Freedom Circle, Apt. 21, was charged with criminal mischief (vandalism).
  • At 9:13 p.m., police reported a theft of a gym bag that contained some clothes on Lafayette Road.

  • At 12:08 a.m., police assisted the Portsmouth Fire Department on Market Street after an intoxicated male subject boarded the M/V Thomas Leighton boat docked at the Isles of Shoals Steamship Co.
  • At 9:55 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on Thornton and Bartlett streets after a flatbed pickup truck took out a stop sign.
  • At 12:03 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for motor vehicle offenses on Middle Road and Ward Place. Peter Chace, 46, of 777 Middle Road, Apt. 40, was charged with having a false inspection or registration sticker.
  • At 1:21 p.m., police reported a theft of a wallet and a cell phone on Longmeadow Lane.
  • At 2:37 p.m., police reported the theft of a $1,200 camera on Lafayette Road that was later located on the Craigslist website.
  • At 6:57 p.m., police reported a non-forcible sex offense on Lafayette Road involving a male subject with a brain injury that the caller said happened five days ago.
