Police: Man Locks 17-Year-Old Girl in Hotel Room

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, March 21 through Sunday, March 24.

Thursday:

  • At 3:47 p.m., police reported a theft at a Lafayette Road business after the caller said a customer stole his personal cell phone.
  • At 11:47 p.m., police arrested a Dover woman who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after she was detained by Seabrook Police. Keyonuta Norfol, 29, of 227 Lilac Lane was wanted for conduct after an accident.

  • At 10:52 a.m., police reported prostitution on Durgin Lane after police took a report of harassment. According to police, a regular resident at the Hampton Inn locked a 17-year-old girl in his room and tried to have sex with her. No physical contact was made. The man just made lewd comments.
  • At 1:38 p.m., police reported an attempted theft at a Lafayette Road business after the caller said someone tried to steal $937 of merchandise before they left the store.
  • At 6:14 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Tobey J. Scott, 31, of 263 Rockland St., Apt. 12 was wanted for criminal mischief (vandalism).

Saturday:

  • At 5:31 p.m., police arrested a Dover woman near the Route 1 Bypass southbound. Kelly Palmer, 21, of 4 East St. was charged with two counts of driving after revocation or suspension, disobeying an officer and criminal liability for conduct or another by Somersworth Police.
  • At 6:13 p.m., police reported a theft at a Route 1 Bypass northbound business after the caller said someone stole her wallet that contained $60 of cash, credit cards and other documents.
  • At 8:35 p.m., police reported a theft on Blue Heron Drive after the caller said his brother stole his Bose stereo system and he wants it back.
  • At 9:22 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Islington Street after the caller said a group of kids were throwing ice at windows.

Sunday:

  • At 2:03 a.m., police reported a large fight on Congress Street in the middle of the road where one girl was punched and there was a lot of screaming and yelling. No one who was involved in the fracas wanted to press charges.
