Police: Man Thrown Through Plate Glass Window

Portsmouth Police provided the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9.

Saturday:

  • At 12:12 a.m., police reported a fight on Congress Street where a male subject was thrown through a picture window of a business.
  • At 10:45 a.m., police arrested a Georgetown, Mass., man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he turned himself in at the police station. Donald Anderson, 61, of 84 Nelson St. was wanted for hindering apprehension or prosecution.
  • At 12:47 p.m., police arrested a Kittery, Maine woman for theft on Woodbury Avenue after she was caught shoplifting from a local store. Kristine Calo, 22, of 12 Lareal Ave. was charged with wilful concealment.
  • At 2:37 p.m., police reported a theft of a stone gargoyle from a stone wall on Livermore Street valued at $50.
  • At 8:21 p.m., police responded to a fight on Hanover and Market streets involving two male subjects.
  • At 9:10 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth woman for drunken driving on Congress Street. Ann Black, 59, of 3 Market Square, Apt. 6, was charged with driving while intoxicated, transporting alcoholic beverages, driving after revocation or suspension and operating with a suspended registration.
  • At 11:50 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Peverly Hill Road after the caller said some trees had been toilet papered.

  • At 1:21 a.m., police reported a theft on Lafayette Road of a gas drive off.
  • At 3:07 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on High Street after the caller said someone slashed two of his vehicle's tires.
