Police: Neighbor Attempted to Run Over Man's Wife

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, June 5 to Thursday, June 6.

Wednesday:

  • At 8:34 a.m., police reported a theft of Oxycontin from a residence on Gosling Road.
  • At 11:17 a.m., police responded to a dog bite at Beechstone Apartments.
  • At 11:39 a.m., police responded to a two car accident on Lafayette Road.
  • At 5:29 p.m., police reported a civil dispute on White Cedar Boulevard after the caller said his neighbor tried to hit his wife with his car.
  • At 9:25 p.m., police reported a theft of a backpack by two male subjects on Marcy Street.

  • At 12:47 a.m., police reported disorderly conduct on Daniel Street involving a skateboarder whose skateboard was run over by a car and cut in half.
