Police: Prowler Terrorizes Neighborhood
Portsmouth Police provided the following information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, April 7 through Monday, April 8.
Sunday:
- At 4:14 p.m., police reported a theft at a Lafayette Road store after the caller said she observed several people stealing items.
- At 4:24 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Court Street after the caller said his home was vandalized.
- At 8:36 p.m., police arrested Portsmouth woman on Islington Street who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. Kelli C. Clifford, 28, of 96 Cabot St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a warrant for obtaining controlled drugs by fraud or deceit.
- At 10:02 p.m., police reported a simple assault on Middle Road where a female juvenile was taken into custody.

- At 1:24 a.m., police reported a prowler complaint on Thornton Street after the caller said he heard someone outside of his house. Police officers responded to the scene, but were unable to locate any suspects.
- At 1:30 a.m., police reported a deer on Route 33 that ran back into the woods after it was pursued to get it out of the roadway.
