Police Report Multiple Car Break-Ins
Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Wednesday, Dec. 5 through Thursday, Dec. 6.
Wednesday:
- At 7:41 a.m., police reported a theft of some change and cash from a car on Dennett Street.
- At 8:16 a.m., police reported the theft of a Bro 15-speed mountain bike on Sagamore Avenue.
- At 8:35 a.m., police reported that some cigarettes, a wallet and some cash were stolen from some motor vehicles on Thornton Street.
- At 10:21 a.m., police arrested a New Hampshire woman on Woodbury Avenue following an animal call about a dog that was locked in a room. Avanti S. Jayasinge, 34, of 7 Jockey Lane in Flemington, NH, was charged with criminal trespass.
- At 10:25 a.m., police arrested a Rochester man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice at the Portsmouth Circuit Court on Parrott Avenue. Corey Alain DuBois, 33, of 6 N. Main St., Apt. 209, in Rochester was wanted on an arrest warrant.
- At 2:53 p.m., police reported a fight on Greenleaf Avenue.
- At 4:05 p.m., police reported a theft of a Kindle, wallet and $52 in cash on Islington Street from an unlocked motor vehicle.
- At 5:01 p.m., police reported the theft of some change and a spare key from a vehicle on Dover Street.
- At 11:07 p.m., police charged a 14-year-old juvenile with simple assault on Middle Road.

- At 12:04 p.m., police reported a theft of a wallet from a motor vehicle on Union Street.
- At 2:26 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice on Pleasant Street. Matthew Curran, 49, of unknown address, Portsmouth was arrested and transported back to the Rockingham County Jail after he fell asleep at a downtown bar.
- At 3:17 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said three boys were throwing rocks at cars.
- At 7:42 p.m., police received another criminal mischief complaint on Gosling Street that some kids were also throwing rocks at cars. Newington Police assisted Portsmouth Police.
- At 8:40 p.m., police reported an attempted theft on Woodbury Avenue after the caller said a male subject tried to break into a video game case before he took off on foot.
