Police Search For Armed Man Who Robbed Lee NH Credit Union
Police used a helicopter, drones, K-9s, several officers to search the area; the suspect was described as white, 6 feet tall, 190 pounds.
LEE, NH — Lee police and area police departments were dispatched to the Northeast Credit Union located at 145 Calef Highway for a reported armed robbery on Tuesday.
The caller advised the robbery had just happened at about 11 a.m. and police arrived at the scene within minutes. Officers were advised that the bank had been robbed by a white man who they described as approximately 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. Police were advised he was wearing a medical face mask, light-colored ball cap, eyeglasses, hooded dark jacket (possibly Patriots), white dress shirt, and a horizontally striped tie. The suspect then fled on foot.
A reverse 911 call was sent out to residents in the area making them aware of the search.

New Hampshire State Police air wing provided a helicopter to the area with thermal imaging and Strafford County Sherriff’s drone unit launched drones in the area. State p K-9 responded with several K9s to search several wooded areas.
Lee Police Department was also assisted by the Strafford County Sheriff’s Department, NH State Police Major Crimes, NH Fish & Game, as well as, Barrington, Durham, and Strafford police departments.

The suspect remains at large and the search and investigation are ongoing.
A surveillance photo was provided of the suspect taken from the bank surveillance cameras in hopes that someone will recognize him. Anyone with information is urged to call Lee Police at 603-659-5866. If you see the suspect please do not approach and call 911.
