Police: Woman Pins Man with Her Car

Portsmouth Police provided the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16.

Friday:

  • At 8:23 a.m., police reported truancy on Blue Heron Drive after a child refused to go to Little Harbour School. Police escorted the child to his school.
  • At 1:42 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Hancock Street after the caller said a woman who walks her dog in front of her house cuts her flowers and plants.
  • At 4:10 p.m., police reported suspicious activity on Woodbury Avenue and Interstate-95 after a city Department of Public Works employee told police a woman was pinning a man with her car.
  • At 6:25 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Bayberry Lane after some kids were racing their dirt bikes on the railroad tracks.
  • At 8:49 p.m., police arrested a Nevada woman for shoplifting on Woodbury Avenue. Pamela Ann Morse, 56, of 2530 Grange Ave., Henderson, Nev., was charged with theft (removing merchandise from the premises).

  • At 12:46 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Islington Street after a plaque on a building and a trailer were tagged with graffiti.
  • At 11:40 p.m., police reported a noise complaint on Raleigh Way where a loud house party was happening and the caller said there were broken beer bottles on the road that made him concerned about his bicycle tires.

Sunday:

  • At 12:56 a.m., police reported a theft on Market Street after the caller said he was pick pocketed.
  • At 2:07 a.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man for disorderly conduct on Court and Washington streets. Truman Keck, 19, of 293 Austin St. was charged with disorderly conduct and with violating a city ordinance that does not permit skateboarding and rollerblading on a public way.
