Police: Man Planted Tracking Device in Woman's Car

Portsmouth Police provided the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Sunday, June 23 through Monday, June 24.

Sunday:

  • At 6:49 a.m., police arrested a Manchester man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained by Manchester Police. Junior R. Plaisir, 26, of address unknown, was wanted for wilful concealment.
  • At 7:48 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Deer Street after the caller said someone keyed her car.
  • At 11:14 a.m., police arrested a Metheun, Mass., man following a domestic incident on Dennett Street. Felix Nunez, 29, of 1 Crest Drive, Apt. 13, was charged with second degree assault (strangulation) and simple assault.
  • At 2:35 p.m., police reported a harassment complaint from a female subject on Weald Road who said a man she had been dating planted a tracking device in her car and was tracking her for three days.
  • At 3:51 p.m., police arrested a Portsmouth man wanted as a fugitive from justice on Woodbury Avenue. Michael A. Ireland, 46, address unknown, was wanted for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
  • At 9:01 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Winsor Road after the caller said a kid in her neighborhood grabbed a backpack off her front porch and later returned it after he realized it was not his backpack and proceeded to punch her front door.

  • At 12:50 a.m., police took three people into protective custody for alcoholism on Hancock Street after police had received a disorderly conduct complaint.
