Here is a listing of recent accolades and accomplishments by Portsmouth college students.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — The following students have been named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in May 2021. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.88 or higher.
Livi Kozick of Portsmouth. Kozick, the daughter of Ken F. Kozick and Susan A. Murray, is a 2020 graduate of Portsmouth High School.
Clay Hundertmark of Portsmouth. Hundertmark, the son of Blair H. Hundertmark and Sarah J. Hundertmark, is a 2018 graduate of Portsmouth High School. He is majoring in physics and minoring in mathematics at Bates.

Oliver Allen of Portsmouth. Allen, the son of Nick Allen and Andrea B. Allen, is a 2018 graduate of Portsmouth High School. He is majoring in physics and mathematics at Bates.

Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.
In recognition of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College in Boston has named nearly 900 students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2021 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Local students earning Dean's List include:

Gettysburg College names students to Dean’s Deans' Commendation List. Students with a quality point average in the range of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work.
Spencer Hedges of Portsmouth has been placed on the Deans' Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2021 semester.
Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
Maddy DeSisto, class of 2021, from Portsmouth, has achieved dean's list status for spring 2021.
Rochester Institute of Technology announces its spring 2021 Dean's List! Undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their GPA is greater than or equal to 3.40 for nine credit hours of traditionally graded coursework; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete," NE, D, or F; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Brynn Van Dorn of Portsmouth, is one of 1800 students who was named to Bradley Univeristy's Dean's List for the Spring 2021 semester. Van Dorn is majoring in Interactive Media Animation. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
Michael Gormley, of Portsmouth, was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2021 President's List. Gormley is majoring in Political Science. To qualify for President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of 14 semester hours.
Michael J. Ippolito, of Portsmouth, received a degree from Clark University during the University's 117th Commencement exercises on Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13. Ippolito graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish. Ippolito is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
