Portsmouth Man Found Dead; Overdose Suspected
Portsmouth police said a man was found dead at an Islington Street residence and a drug overdose was suspected.

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- A Portsmouth man was found dead at an Islington Street residence over the weekend and a drug overdose was suspected, according to police. The man was identified only as a 30-year-old. He was found dead Sunday morning.
The state Medical Examiner was investigating the death, police said. If it is confirmed to be a drug overdose, it would be the city's fifth fatal drug overdose this year, police said, adding there have also been 21 non-fatal drug overdoses so far this year. Last year, there were seven drug overdose deaths in Portsmouth, police said.
