PORTSMOUTH, NH —Check out the dispatch log from the Portsmouth Police Dept. from May 8 and 9.
Tuesday, May 8
- Police were called to Middle Road for a report of a dog bite. The caller said he was attacked by a lab on a leash while he was running in the neighborhood. The caller said he wanted to know if the dog was up to date on his vaccinations.
- Steven Adrien, 47, of Somersworth, NH was arrested for theft on Junkins Avenue.
- Police were called to Freedom Circle for an unattended death report. Police said the male suffered a cardiac arrest.
- Someone called police to report a found New Hampshire driver's license.
- Police were called to Pierce Island for a report of dogs off their leash.
- Police were called to Congress Street for a report of criminal trespassing. According to police, the caller wanted three homeless males banned from the property. Police responded and spoke to the men who were playing music and advised they had done nothing wrong.
- A female brought in a credit card she found downtown and turned it in to police.
- Police were called to West Road for a man sleeping in his car behind a building.
- Staff on Holiday Driver reported a strong smell of marijuana coming from an apartment. Police responded and smelled a faint odor and found no one home.
- Police were called to Blue Heron Drive to oversee a neighbor dispute. According to the caller, she was nervous getting from her car to her house due to ongoing neighbor disputes.
- Police responded to Chapel Street for a fight. According to a caller, a male robbed another for drugs, got in a silver Hundai and took off. After police responded, the victim told police it was just an argument.
- A walk-in reported a non-forcible sex offense on Ledgewood Drive.
- Police were called to Islington Street for a report of a male and female yelling. According to police, the caller the couple were yelling at each other for over 20 minutes. Police arrived and found the suspects were gone on arrival.
- Police had to shut down Elwyn Road after an alleged drunk drier hit a phone pole. Police arrested David Duplessis, 51 of Rye, NH for DWI.
- A caller on Islington Street reported "a bunch of drunks" in the park nearby. According to police, two men who had been trespassed from the property were arrested. Police arrested Daniel Russell, 52, of Portsmouth for criminal trespassing, having an open container and breach of bail. Police also arrested Todd Douglass Ball, 55 of Portsmouth, NH for criminal trespassing, drug possession and having an open container.
