Lexi's Joint on Islington Street will soon expand its dining room to accommodate a growing customer base.
Lexi Wile and her staff were busy taking care of another lunch crowd that crave the signature burgers served at Lexi's Joint on Islington Street. and soon the dining room will get even bigger.
Wile, who co-owns Lexi's Joint with her husband K.C. Cargill, said the couple decided to take out a wall located on left hand side of the dining room so they can add 10 more seats. They just started the project on Wednesday and posted a number of photos on the restaurant's Facebook page.

The reason? "We've been so busy that we just needed more seats," she said.
When the renovation project is completed in a few weeks, the dining room will expand from 24 seats to 34 seats, she said.

Based on how busy Lexi's Joint tends to be each day, Wile said is pretty confident they will have no trouble filling those new seats as the summer season gets underway.
