“As a community orchestra, the PSO atrracts musicians from many towns who work in a wide range of professions. One of the secondary benefits of bringing so many talented people together is the number of smaller ensembles that form among members,” notes Virginia Macdonald, Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra Executive Director. “This month’s 7 Rivers Quintet performance and next month’s Seacoast Flute Ensemble are but two examples of groups comprised entirely of PSO musicians that have gone on to establish their own identities and reputation for great music.”

Get Cozy with the PSO chamber music concerts will conclude Sunday, June 4 with the Seacoast Flute Ensemble at the Kittery Dance Hall.
