Portsmouth Woman Attended Sandy Hook

A Portsmouth woman who attended the Connecticut elementary school where a gunman shot and killed 27 people, including 18 children, had her childhood memories shattered by the tragedy.

Beth Finelli, 33, told the Union Leader Friday that she continues to be in a state of shock and disbelief that something like this happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., which she attended and where her mother taught third and fifth grade school.

Newtown Patch reported that a 24-year-old male subject entered the school at around 9:30 a.m. and opened fire before he turned the gun on himself.
