Portsmouth's Tuscan Kitchen Debuts New Happy Hour Menu

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The artisan Italian restaurant Tuscan Kitchen in Portsmouth has released a new Happy Hour menu. From oysters and shrimp cocktail to truffle fries and Salume e Fromaggi, the menu offers appetizers in addition to drink menu items such as the blueberry lemon drop martini and the cucumber-watermelon mojito. The new Happy Hour menu items are available from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.

As part of the menu, the raw bar offers freshly shucked local oysters with cocktail sauce and mignonette for $1 each, shrimp cocktail for $2 each and lump crab cakes with pickled red onions and saffron aioli for $8. The menu also has specialties from Executive Chef David Crinieri — mac & cheese and a housemade grilled Tuscan sausage, and snacks including truffle fries and the Salumi e Fromaggi board featuring prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano and truffle honey. Several varieties of oven-fired pizza are also on the menu.

For drinks, the Tuscan Kitchen is offering a collection of wines, draft beers and signature cocktails, including the Bella Rosa with grapefruit vodka, the blueberry drop martini and the Tuscan Tini.

In addition, the Tuscan Kitchen is rolling out a Sunday Happy Hour taking place every week from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant is located at 581 Lafayette Road.
