Raise Some Pints for Peace This Month

Pints for Peace Seacoast, NH to hold annual fundraiser on May 19 to sponsor more youths form Northern Ireland and Israel to the Granite State.

Pints for Peace Seacoast, NH will hold its annual fundraiser in downtown Portsmouth on May 19 to raise money to host more youths from various countries here in the state.

According to the group's website, "Friends Forever has brought together over 1,200 youth to New Hampshire from areas of conflict like N. Ireland & Israel as part of an intense year long program to create lifelong leaders committed to creating a sustainable peace in their homelands. Our grassroots program empowers everyday people in the US to directly participate in the international peace process by volunteering, planning activities, providing in-kind donations and financial support."

For $25, people will receive a Pints for Peace T-shirt, a Guinness pint glass, and three Guinness beverages at several participating restaurants that include: RiRa, Martingale Wharf, State Street, Rusty Hammer, TJs, Press Room, and the Blue Mermaid. People can register on the group's website.
