Rochester Accident With Entrapment

A vehicle crashed into a tree on Estes Rd resulting in injuries to the driver

ROCHESTER, NH - On Wednesday April 1, 2020 at approximately 6:20 PM Rochester Police, Rochester Fire, and Frisbie EMS responded to Estes Road by Howard Brook Drive for the report of a motor vehicle accident involving one vehicle with entrapment. Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find one vehicle with heavy front end damage that had struck a tree.
The preliminary investigation revealed that John Turner, 50 of Somersworth, NH, was operating a Chevrolet 2500 traveling east on Estes Road when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and collided with a tree. Turner was extricated from the vehicle by Rochester Fire and transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Estes Road was temporarily shut down.
Turner was subsequently arrested for Operating After Suspension, a violation level offense.
