Portsmouth Police Arrest 14-Year-Old After Fight

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
Wednesday:
- At 3:37 a.m., police assisted the Newington Police Department on Gosling Road and Woodbury Avenue after someone threw a rock through a window.
- At 9:47 a.m., police reported truancy on Greenleaf Avenue.
- At 11:18 a.m., police reported truancy on Sherburne Road at the Robert J. Lister Academy.
- At 12:37 p.m., police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile on Middle Road who was fighting with staff. The juvenile was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
- At 1:06 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Lafayette Road without injury.
- At 3:09 p.m., police reported a burglary on Weald Road.
- At 3:55 p.m., police arrested a Saco, Maine man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was being held at the York County Jail for another offense. Nathaniel S. Glavin, 36, of 97 Ocean Park Road was wanted for theft (removing merchandise from the premises).
- At 4:49 p.m., police reported a two-car accident on Corporate Drive without injury.
