Farmers' Market Season Opens May 1
Seacoast Growers Association welcomes 15 new members, including Back to Eden Farm, UNH Organic Gardening Club, and Leaven Beer and Bread House.
The outdoor farmers' market season opens this week, with the first markets being Thursday in Exeter and Saturday in Portsmouth, according to the Seacoast Growers Association.
After May 1, there's a farmers' market in the Seacoast every other day.
The local lineup:
- Exeter Farmers’ Market: Thursday, May 1 (Thursdays, 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Swasey Parkway).
- Portsmouth Farmers’ Market: Saturday, May 3 (Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., City Hall parking lot)
- Durham Farmers’ Market: Monday, June 2 (Mondays, 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., Durham Town Offices parking lot)
- Dover Farmers’ Market: Wednesday, June 4 (Wednesdays, 2:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., Dover Chamber of Commerce parking lot.
