Second Victim Sues Employer of Man Charged in Sex Assault

John Riley was previously charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled adult male.

A second victim has filed a lawsuit against the adult care company that employed a man already accused of sexually assaulting a patient in Portsmouth.

According to the Union Leader, the mother of a 24-year-old Lee man claims in the lawsuit that Living Innovations and Community Partners of Strafford County Foundation didn't protect her son from being assaulted by former care worker John Riley, 41, of Milton.

Riley was previously charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled adult male in a Home Depot parking lot in 2012. He is scheduled for trial next month in Rockingham County Superior Court.
