New Shuttle Bus to Help With Parking

The free service starts May 2.

The city of Portsmouth will run a new shuttle bus on weekends starting May 2 to make parking easier for visitors, workers and residents.

The service – which is free – will run every 10 minutes "on a loop from the 93 car parking lot at the Connect Community Church on Market Street and the Hanover Street bus stop adjacent to the High/Hanover parking garage."

The shuttle schedule:

  • Fridays, 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
  • Saturdays, noon to 1:30 a.m.
  • Sundays, from noon to 10 p.m.
