Snow Leads to Dozens of Accidents Across Southern NH
The heavy snowfall has left roads extremely icy, and motorists are urged to use caution while driving.
Emergency crews have been busy responding to dozens of accidents across southern New Hampshire over the past few hours.
The heavy snowfall has left roads extremely icy, and motorists are urged to use caution while driving.
A 3-vehicle crash was reported on Bridge Street in Pelham around 4 p.m., resulting in the closure of a portion of the road. Accidents were reported a short time later on both North Policy Street and Rockingham Road in Salem. A serious accident was also reported around 3:30 p.m. on Rockingham Road in Londonderry. Just before 5 p.m., a vehicle reportedly rolled onto its side on Interstate 93 north in Windham. Around that same time, an accident was reported on I-93 in Derry.
Several accidents have also been reported in the Concord area, including one around 4:30 p.m. on I-93 south near the Bow-Hooksett line. An overturned vehicle was also reported around 5:45 on Interstate 393 in Concord.
Accidents were reported in Nashua, Portsmouth, Candia, Raymond, Brookline, Manchester and Warner as well.
