Teen Charged with Threatening Other Students

The following information was provided by the Portsmouth Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Feb. 5

  • 7:49 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Grafton Drive.
  • 10:42 a.m.: A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with criminal threatening and three counts of criminal mischief (vandalism). He was threatening other kids and staff with a fan stand and they told police they did not feel safe.
  • 12:17 p.m.: A man in the emergency room was giving the staff a hard time. He got angry and yelled at staff.
  • 1:01 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Fleet Street.
  • 2:10 p.m.: Found dog, Pinehurst Road.
  • 2:26 p.m.: A caller on Greenside Avenue says her neighbor is dispersing chemicals into her home that are making her dizzy and confused.
  • 6:49 p.m.: A sidewalk plow backed into the front window of a business on Daniel Street.
