Thieves Steal Christmas Packages Left in Front of House

Portsmouth Police supplied the following arrest information.

The following is an excerpt from the Portsmouth Police log from Thursday, Dec. 20 through Saturday, Dec. 23.

Thursday:

  • At 1:02 p.m., police reported a burglary on Greenland Road after the caller said someone broke into his garage and stole a chainsaw, some scrap metal, copper and broke into a trailer.
  • At 1:15 p.m., police reported the theft of a business sign on Court Street.
  • At 4:28 p.m., police reported a theft of Christmas packages that were left at the front door of an Islington Street apartment building. The caller said the packages contained a ski roof rack, brackets, and children's snow pants valued at more than $350.

  • At 11:48 a.m., police reported criminal mischief on Ricci Avenue after the caller said someone damaged his car top.
  • At 2:47 p.m., police reported the theft of a customer's credit card by a store employee on Woodbury Avenue.
  • At 7:55 p.m., police reported a theft of a torneau cover off a pick-up truck on Thornton Street.
  • At 9:55 p.m., police reported criminal mischief on Odiorne Point Road and Gosport Road after the caller said some mailboxes were destroyed.

Saturday:

  • At 4:39 a.m., police arrested a Rochester man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice after he was detained by Rochester Police. Adam Wilson, 23, of 85 Chestnut Hill Road in Rochester was wanted for simple assault and criminal mischief (vandalism).
  • At 9:06 p.m., police arrested a Seabrook man for motor vehicle offenses on the Route 1 Bypass northbound. Terry Deschennes, 22, of 31 Irenes Way in Seabrook was charged with driving after revocation or suspension and operating with a suspended registration.
