Trick-Or-Treating In Portsmouth Rescheduled For Wednesday Due To Incoming Storms: Follow-Up
City officials reschedule trick-or-treating due to a storm predicted for Thursday; parade, other events take place Friday — rain or not.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — The city of Portsmouth has rescheduled trick-or-treating due to expected incoming storms, officials said Monday.
Officials said trick-or-treating will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, rather than on Thursday.
The Portsmouth Police Department also reminded everyone to watch out for trick-or-treaters and the increased traffic on the roads that evening.

Other Halloween Events
Two other Halloween events are scheduled for Friday and will be held rain or not.
The Senior Activity Center Halloween Party will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Friday at the Senior Activity Center, 125 Cottage St. Come dressed in costume, festive Halloween, or Autumn attire. Entertainer Rockin’ Randy Hawkes will play fun tunes. The Senior Activity Center will provide treats. Ages 50-plus welcome. This event is free and no reservations are required.

The independently organized Portsmouth Halloween Parade takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday. For details, go to their website: PortsmouthHalloweenParade.org.
