A downtown Portsmouth restaurant was hit by vandals over the weekend.
Moxy, located at 106 Penhallow St., posted photos to its Twitter feed on Sunday showing a decorative tree in front of the restaurant that was vandalized.
"Dear Vandals, When you tree bowl make sure it's not across the street from a federal bldg w/cameras. Have a nice day!" said the first message.
Moxy is located across the street from the Thomas J. McIntyre Federal Building.
A second message posted on Moxy's Twitter feed read, "Dear Vandals, Your tree bowling skillz need help. The up side is we've got plenty of video to help u w/your game!"
No word yet on whether police are investigating.
