'Thunder Over New Hampshire' Roars Into Portsmouth This Weekend
Thousands of people will come out to see the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, F-22 Raptors, KC-46A aircraft, and several other military planes.
PORTSMOUTH, NH— The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the F-22 Raptor arrived at the Pease Air National Guard Base on Thursday afternoon. They joined several KC-46A aircraft stationed at Pease.
The arrival kicks off the beginning of “Thunder Over New Hampshire,” an air show that will bring about 40,000 people to the area to watch the first air show in New Hampshire in 10 years.
Crews from the aircraft did interviews on Thursday, sharing information about the aircraft and details on their background information.

Friday, people in the area may see many military and civilian aircraft flying in the area of Pease preparing for the official show that will be held Saturday and Sunday.

NOON: Opening Ceremony/Flying Begins

Sunday, September 12th
9 AM: Parking Lots Open/Gates Open/Patriot Plaza Presented by Service Credit Union Opens
9:30 AM: KC-46 Naming Ceremony
NOON: Flying Begins
4 PM: Flying Ends
5 PM: Gates Close/Patriot Plaza Presented by Service Credit Union Closes
