Will Pease ever get another commercial airline?
This is a question that many people in the Portsmouth area have been asking for several years. Even though they can access airports in Boston-Manchester Regional Airport, the Portland Jetport in Maine and Logan International Airport in Boston, many Portsmouth area residents still want the convenience of a commercial airline to take them to Florida and elsewhere.

My wife and I wish we could just go to Pease and hop on a direct flight to Florida like we used to when Pan Am was still flying out of Portsmouth. Will we ever see another commercial airline again?
Great question, John. Here is what Portsmouth Patch knows about this issue at this point. The Pease Development Authority continues to search for a new commercial airline to serve Portsmouth International Airport and PDA Executive Director Bill Mullen said earlier this winter there is one possible air carrier that could serve Portsmouth later this year. Portsmouth Patch will certainly stay on top of this story and report the latest developments as they become available.
