The buzz surrounding the first ever TedXPiscataquaRiver conference happening in Portsmouth today has been pretty intense this week, but for those who were not able to get a ticket to see the speakers live, they want to know how they can be part of it.

This is the very question that Maureen, a Portsmouth resident, asked:

For the last few weeks, I have been reading a lot of stuff about the TedXPiscataquaRiver conference, but I never had a chance to get a ticket. How can I follow it today?

Great question, Maureen. After doing some digging, here is what Portsmouth Patch found out. According to the TedXPiscataquaRiver website, the event is being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and the main location is the 3S Artspace center on Vaughn Street. The Discover Portsmouth Center is serving as a satellite location. There is also a free watch party at the Portsmouth Public Library with free food and comfortable seating for the duration of the conference.

For those who were unable to get a ticket via the curated invitations or the public lottery, they can follow the event live by logging onto http://www.ustream.tv/channel/tedxpiscataquariver. The organizers will also be live Tweeting from the event @TEDxPiscataqua.
