Market Square Day 2013 may be a few weeks away, but as the beautiful spring weather continues to move the city closer to summer, some Portsmouth residents are starting to wonder about Pro Portsmouth's largest event.

One of those city residents is Jenna who just moved to Portsmouth with her family last fall from Maryland and is looking forward to going to her first Market Square Day with her husband, Paul, and their kids, Molly, 4, and Ethan, 2.

Here is Jenna's question:

We are really looking forward to bringing the kids to their first Market Square Day after we had a great time at Children's Day, but I am a little confused about when it will take place. I know it is happening in June. Can you tell me the exact date?

Great question, Jenna. Here's the scoop. Market Square Day traditionally takes place on the second Saturday in June, rain or shine, which means that it will fall on June 8 this year. If you and your family have never been to MSD before, you will have a wonderful time.
