4th of July Boat Parade Returns to Canobie Lake
The event will kick off at Rocky Point.

The annual 4th of July Boat Parade, a staple for the Canobie Lake Protective Association, will once again circle the lake this year.
Led by the 2012 first place winner the Forrance Family, the parade will begin at 1 p.m., starting at "Rocky Point" and proceed around the lake.
Judges in kayaks will observe the boats along the parade route. This year's judges include Odie Odierna, Heidi Odierna and Tracy Johnson.
All sizes and types of boats are welcome, and first prize will receive $100. Second place will get four passes to Canobie Lake Park while third place will get two passes to the park. The park is sponsoring the event this year.
The awards will be granted for patriotic decorations of the boats.
