7 Women Recognized as Salem's 'Hidden Jewels'
Seven individuals have been recognized for professional accomplishments, initiative, dedication, leadership and involvement in the community.

The Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners for the Sixth Annual Hidden Jewel Awards.
The Hidden Jewel Awards is a program developed through the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Salem Co-operative Bank, to honor the area’s most priceless women – truly "precious gems."
These awards are intended to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of women who have excelled in their chosen field or vocation, defined their role through their initiative and dedication, while establishing a record of leadership and involvement.
- Mother of Pearl Award Winner – Elsie Talanian
- Diamond in the Rough Award Winners – Nicole Dill and Crystal Napoli
- Sapphire Award Winner – Gretchen Meisner
- Emerald Award Winner – Sue Desjardins
- Ruby Award Winner – Madeline Berni
- Pink Diamond Award Winner – Sandra Dennehy
Tickets for the Luncheon are $25 per person and are on sale now. Congratulatory ad opportunities are also available through Monday, October 7, 2013.
