AG Releases Findings of 'Worst' Salem Murder 'in Recent Memory'
A Wheeler Avenue man shot and killed his wife, mother and dog before turning a gun on himself in August 2012.
The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office has completed its investigation into a deadly 2012 Salem shooting that left three dead, confirming investigators' theory that a Wheeler Avenue man shot his wife, mother and dog before using the same gun to take his own life.
Jeffrey Kaznecki, 50, shot his wife, Barbara Kaznecki, 51, and mother Shirley Leary, 88, with a .38-caliber revolver on July 31, 2012, inside the 33 Wheeler Ave. home in which all three lived.
Jeffrey Kaznecki shot himself outside the home after committing the murders, which Salem Deputy Chief of Police Shawn Patten has called "one of the worst in recent memory."
