Bertucci's Closes Salem Restaurant After Company Files For Bankruptcy
The Manchester location also closed, leaving Nashua as the only remaining Bertucci's in NH. Bertucci's still has 20 restaurants open in MA.

SALEM, NH — Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta in Salem has closed after its parent company filed for bankruptcy, according to multiple sources.
The restaurant, which was located at the Mall at Rockingham Park, 275 Rockingham Park Blvd., was one of two New Hampshire Bertucci's — along with Manchester — to shutter this week, WCVB reported.
Both locations have been removed from the Bertucci's website, which now lists Nashua as the only Bertucci's in the state.

According to CBS Boston, Bertucci's also closed Massachusetts restaurants in Beverly, Brockton, Canton, Marlboro and North Attleboro.
The Northboro, Massachusetts-based Bertucci's still has 20 restaurants open in Massachusetts, CBS Boston reported.

According to the station, court documents show that Bertucci's filed for Chapter 11 this week in a Florida bankruptcy court.
The filing states that sales declined and expenses increased due to factors like the pandemic and the impact of inflation, WCVB reported.
The filing, according to WCVB, also states that in the fiscal year 2021, Bertucci's sustained an operating loss of $14 million and a net loss of $7.2 million.
