Blizzard Watch: Salem Information Center

Welcome to the Salem, N.H. Patch Command Center for everything you need to know about Blizzard Nemo.

Look out for information on closures, road conditions, emergency information and more updates as the storm blows through our area. You can also get immediate updates by following us on Facebook, Twitter and through our e-mail alert service.

Here is what we know so far:

• Snowfall is expected to be 18-24 inches
• Nemo should be appearing Friday morning with light snow before the heavier stuff starts falling in the afternoon. The worst of it will come Friday night into Saturday morning before clearing up Saturday afternoon.
• Winds are expected to reach 10-20 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph.

CLOSURES

Salem Schools are closed for Friday.

Hesser College is closed for Friday.

Little Scholars Daycare is closed for Friday.

Here We Grow Learning Center is closed for Friday.

Littleville Learning Center is closed for Friday.

Kid's Krossroads Childcare Center is closed for Friday.

Salem Town Hall and Senior Center will close at 2 p.m. on Friday.

Kelley Library has asked residents to call ahead because of possible closures. The number is 603-898-7064

The Mall at Rockingham Park will close on Friday at 2 p.m. We will have more information on when the mall will reopen when it is available.

Gently Loved Baby will close on Friday at 2 p.m. The business has also indicated on their Facebook page that a Saturday closure is likely. Residents will be informed via the page if that closure takes place.

LUSH Cosmetics will close at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Salem Animal Hospital will close on Friday at 2 p.m. and remain closed all day Saturday. The hospital expects to be open again for normal business hours on Sunday.

Family Health Matters of Salem will be closed on Friday.
