Canobie Lake Park, Others to be Honored Today

2. CANOBIE LAKE PARK, OTHERS TO BE HONORED: Canobie Lake Park will be honored this morning at the annual Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce Business Pillar Awards. One other Salem business along with a Salem non-profit will also be recognized. Speaking at the event, which will take place in Windham, will be Gov. Maggie Hassan (D-NH). Learn more here.

SEE ONE OF THE MOST MOVING NATIONAL ANTHEMS YOU WILL EVER WITNESS: Last night, the Boston Bruins took to the ice at the TD Garden for the first sporting event in Boston since Monday's Boston Marathon bombings. 4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1775, British troops march out of Boston on a mission to confiscate the American arsenal at Concord and to capture Patriot leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock, known to be hiding at Lexington. As the British departed, Boston Patriots Paul Revere and William Dawes set out on horseback from the city to warn Adams and Hancock and rouse the Minutemen.
