State Sen. Chuck Morse (R-Salem) will join former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) as a speaker at a "<a href="https://salem-nh.patch.com/groups/editors-picks/p/scott-brown-to-speak-again-in-nh" rel="nofollow">Restoring Trust in Government</a>" fund-raising dinner Aug. 9 in Salem. The event is a fund-raiser for state Rep. Joe Sweeney (R-Salem). Morse, a businessman who is a four-term senator, is chairman of the New Hampshire Senate Finance Committee and one of the legislative budget writers. The dinner is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Derry-Salem Elks at 39 Shadow Lake Road in Salem.
